Survivors Escape from I-75 Plane Crash: New Report Details
A recent report has revealed details about a tragic private
jet crash on Interstate 75 near Naples, which resulted in the loss of two
Broward County pilots' lives. Hop-a-Jet, a charter company based in Fort
Lauderdale, was in charge of the flight departing from Columbus, Ohio, and was
due to land at Naples airport. When the pilots became aware of the dual engine
failure that caused the crash, they gave Sydney Bosmans (27), a flight
attendant, Aaron Baker (35), and Audra Green (24), two Columbus-based
passengers, the order to brace for impact. Bosmans successfully opened the rear
door, allowing them to escape before the explosion. Unfortunately, the pilots,
Edward Daniel Murphy (50) and Ian Frederick Hofmann (65), did not survive. The
survivors were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The federal
authorities are investigating the crash, which is still ongoing as of Tuesday.
